Reward Offered for Information Leading to Arrest in Shooting of 11-year-old

(7/1/2010) (NEW HAVEN)- A $2500 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the individual(s) responsible for Tuesday’s shooting of an eleven-year-old child. This incident took place at the corner of Dixwell and Division Streets where the child was shot as he was exiting a corner convenience store. The child was the victim of senseless violence involving gunfire. The New Haven Police Department is actively pursuing leads in this case and has asked the community for its cooperation in identifying the offender(s) in this incident.

Pike International, a local landlord group serving the New Haven community, has stepped up to fund the $2500 reward expressing that no one, especially children, should have to be subjected to such violent acts.
